Hey Dude... Typing all in capitals is like shouting...

Lots of practice is the key to anything...
Lessons help to private is also a option... I prefer private....
Change you strings as soon as you think they need to be changed.. It makes a big difference...
Always try different strings.. there not expensive so don't linit your options...

Hello out there. New to this but have been playing for 25 years. Just picked up my first Washburn. It's a CB-14 SP I was very unsure of what I would get for the price but to my surprise I really like this bass. I have been playing my Zon Sonus for the last 3 years ( which I love) and wanted to get something else because my other bass (a Music Man Stingray) gets a litle heavey at times. The only thing I did to the Washburn was have the fret ends dressed and I also put Bartolini pickups and new pre-amp in it. I'm very pleased with this bass. Going to play it this weekend live for the first time so I'll let you all know how it goes.
