The Chicago Shop closed. They're now made in Cleveland.

There was a courtesy wait time of 90 seconds for posts to be posted. I've increased it to 180 seconds. Hopefully that helps. It prevents spam posts. There are several other settings that prevent spam, like a 30 second wait between posts.

General Discussion / Re: Washburn build by Matsumoku and/or Yamaki?

There may be a time limit keeping you from posting more than a certain number of posts at a time. Wait a bit and try again or try to fit everything you want to say into 1 post.

Those will work fine. You may need to adjust the truss rod to account for the additional tension, but that's it.

Customer Service says the closest it Dunlop 6100.

Here at the office, that finish was affectionately called "mother of toilet seat".

Washburn Parallaxe Series / Re: Grover locking tuners on PXL10EC
« on: March 24, 2017, 09:42:42 AM »
That was a mistake in the specs on the website that has now been corrected. Sorry for the confusion. Most fixed bridge Washburn Parallaxe guitars will have the standard Grover 18:1 tuners.

Correct, Tony. The forum doesn't need to have a secure connection since there is no private or payment info stored here. This is the way the forum has always been set up.

I'd be interested to know where this info is coming from. Our corporate security software shows nothing out of the ordinary.

The PXM20EFTBM shouldn't have push/pull knobs since that model utilizes EMG active pickups. The specification is wrong in the catalog and has been corrected on the Website.

Most were fretted. All were A/E. This one has been customized with dot inlays centered over EADG strings.

We happen to have an AB35 Fretless from 2001 in the office now.
