I tried it early the first day it wasn't that noisy yet, just a cursory test it wasn't as loud as the Jumbo but had a contemporary feel I liked

2
Tried it at NAMM it was sweet and the one of new USA models I would pick if I had the cash.

I visited and played these models while at NAMM the jumbo sounds impressive has a rosewood fretboard and bridge and has a rather plain apearance the Baritone was really loud.It was cool to see the made in USA stamped into the back of the head stock .If I could buy it would be the folk size though. The two Domestics were hanging separately from the rest of the heard. The list is how much? Their was sure lots to see spent 3 days needed 3 more

I Tried one of those at NAMM last year and thought it the best sounding of that years line

Thanks I was pretty sure thats what the SK meant although some of the prefixes who knows.I just went and looked at it again and played and compared it to a Yamaha FG370 they had.The Yamaha sounded a bit better. I am pretty sure the nut and saddle were plastic on the D21S,and that was why.I also noticed a buzz on open E and saw where the action was to low,the bridge angle a little forward.my overall impression on sound was even in need of a setup it had a better lower end than my old D10SDL and probably would sound better after some adjustments. But would never play better I had a great setup on it.So I will hold off I may get it if I pay low enough or buy a D21S if I see one in the future. Both my D26S and D60SW have flat bridges and they are much older 79 and 83.By the way I have really developed a good appreciation for the D26S I put GHS Laurence Juber Signatures on it and it really sounds pure and deep when fingerpicked.it sounds a little dull with Martin Phospher Bronze and too harsh with 80-20s.It took me a while to figure it out. I don't think i would ever sell it.Probably the D60SW first.sounds hard to believe.I paid 200 for the D26S on CL and it is near mint a real tribute to Cedar Mahog combination even if it is laminate back and sides.

Terrible story, and a sin to wreck good instruments too, makes ya cringe when Woody Allen throws a Cello out the window in one of his movies.

Thanks for the replies, I assumed the K was for Korea.after looking at the washburn archives I think it may be, like a 96 dot inlays and headstock artwork. I will try a lower offer.I gave my D10 SDL away to an old friend and kinda miss it I think it would be a good replacement.

There is one in my Local Pawn Shop really good Condition $156 I would offer lower he is trying to sell me a D35 Martin for $1750 I think I would rather get the D21S for cheap, half as much as a nice sounding Yamaha he has 730S(I think) but I think the Washburn would equal it with a tweak and new strings. SK=Samick Korea?

Sounds like you have a D66 Prairie Song custom the highest end made at the time

I took another look at the Terada today model#42-277 the main 2 issues it had were a broken nut and slightly bowed neck other wise it was nearly immaculate. The guy tried to tell me it was rosewood it but was lighter than my ovongkol Alvarez Yairi, and way lighter than my D60SW. I didn't make an offer not knowing much about it.I  was reluctant to take a picture.no pickguard amber color maplebinding+arrow inlay amber as well, ebony fingerboard and bridge, rosewood headstock.Jumbo size, but light.I would say the wood is between maple and ovongkol in color the solid top is a nice amber.the idiot smelled it and said it wasn't cedar. My D26S has no smell at all and it is cedar. The Terada may have been Spruce though, not a particularly warm sound, solid and milled fairly thin.A bit of a mystery guitar. That is why it has my attention and I brought it to the forum.I would probably have to sink 200 for a pro setup if I got a good buy.so I am most likely gonna pass.

I know it is stupid, that Terada  got me interested though and I saw it there a couple of years ago  like I said 150  they might laugh but their is nothing on the web on the model when he looked so how does he know what he has?it is a good example of an unusual good sounding guitar.think it had a # like 320-50 he couldn't find any thing and I saw nothin' but dreads when I looked.

I saw and played one yesterday it looked very nice from a distance  with the nice herring bone on closer inspection I was less impressed the sound whole was finished like it was lam and the spruce top seemed too thick
it was made in China by Samick maybe,as far as sound my D10 SDL from grand rewards outshined it.I saw a very interesting Terada too MIJ Cedar Mahog Jumbo I think very light and bassy it looked like the top could have been lifting a bit but could still have been set up OK  $430 Offer 150 maybe can't find a thing out about it.bty they wanted 320 for the d14s
