Acoustic Guitar Players Post Comments & Questions / Washburn D-10
« on: July 19, 2004, 11:39:43 PM »
I have a Washburn D-10 and I was wondering...what does the D stand for?  What about the 10?  Does this refer just to a series number or some particular measurment?

I love the guitar BTW; nice and bright for a great price.

I'm moving from NJ to NC and was concerned about how to best ship my acoustic guitar (Washburn D10).

Would it be better to have the moving company take it on the truck or drive it down with me in my vechile.

My concern about driving it down with me would be that guitar getting too hot, etc in the car (but then again, who knows how hot/cold or manhandled it will get by the movers!)

What do y'all think? [?]

I just saw Gillian Welch and David Rawlings perform in NYC tonight and Rawlings is AMAZING on this little acoustic guitar with no soundhole(?).

Someone told me it was an F-Hole guitar?

I saw one of these little beauties at the music store and liked it (somewhat).  The sound was predictably lacking in tone, but wondered if it would be good to take with me when I just want to noodle around when away from home.

Anyone else have this or an opinion?

Moving to WNC area in a month.

I'm a beginning acoustic player but I'm dedicated and older.

Please email me.
