Show Us Your Washburn / Re: Please help identify this Washburn

I haven't seen this one in my catalogues. Probably from 1995 onwards judging from the sticker. V-head-stock.
I have never seen this type of inlay on other WBs.
Body made from cheaper asian wood, top is spruce.
can you see if the top is solid wood?

Very nice guitar.
I would really like to check one out next to my D-66  8)

Hey Max,
Eastman Guitars have a very good reputation, best quality from China.
Go over to Acousticguitarforum to see some reviews and post your questions.
And then try out in person as many guitars as you can.

Nice one!
I can confirm info from Dugly. All solid according to blue book. Must have been a short lived model, not in my catalogues.
Ebony fingerboard & bridge, beautiful inlays and binding!
Care to show more photos?

Congrats! Thanks for the report.
What about a picture for us  :D

I hope your guy knows what he does.. Good Luck!

Thanks Stuart, our guitars are perfect siblings, i can match all details, apart from the body shapes!
(Slope shoulder dreadnought <> 000/Folk)
I'd really like to hear them side by side..
Those F-models, like yours, are really rare.

Good luck, Tekkamaki!

Restoring my D-66 by a professional, very skilled luthier was very expensive and I had big doubts, but in the end it's a wonderful guitar..

Post some pictures of the process, if you want?

Hi Stuart,
very interesting. you say yours is an F-model?  8)
could you post a picture to compare some details?

as for the serial, I think it's looks like the same system, mine being from 1989, yours from 1987.

Hi all!
Here is a recording that I recently made with this guitar:

Be aware that processing has been applied to the recording.

I found another example of Washburn's odd naming, or maybe just a mistake:
this (overpriced) offer is also looking like the D-20 2.version, but marked in the warranty card with the added "S" for solid top

browsing around I found the 1984 D-20 model from the catalog, i.e. here:
looks like Ovangkol back and sides and laminate spruce top
