General Discussion / The End of Nature and Guitar Woods‏ !!
« on: March 15, 2019, 06:52:13 AM »
Going through old post looking for things. . .like "-The Guitars of Notable Classical Guitarists-‏"
I ran into this 2005 post that made it's way around this dirty brown earth.  The point, silly guitarist, 9 years ago were concerned with trees, a mere 9 years ago we had no idea of the pending significance
of Global Warming and now the Ebola plague. It's been on CNN 24/7.

A Journal of the Plague Year is a novel by Daniel Defoe, 1660-1731, first published in March 1722.
I read it years ago.  If interested you can download it free @ The Project Gutenberg EBookhttps://discord.software/ FetLife https://downloader.vip/itunes/

I just recently started the long road to learn how to play. Few month back I got a Squire Bullet Stratocaster but when I saw this beauty last week, it was love at first sight. I could not resists. I may suck so far, but man, I try to practice a lot.

I also started listening to a lot of blues and rockabilly lately. We will se where my journey takes me. :)

So far I've learnt the Am pentatonic boxes, the CAGED system and of course the usual Seven Nation Army and Kryptonite introes. Plus I'm practicing moving up and down the fretboard using hammer ons and pull offs while trying to remember which note I'm playing. Any advice is appreciated.

I currently play on a 1991 Washburn D24S. It was my dad's before he passed so I love it to death but a lot of my favorite songs are played on electric.

I get kind of impulsive and I'm trying to convince myself to wait a few months to save up and buy a nice MIM Strat but part of me thinks I could benefit from buying one of those Squiers or a Pacifica.

What would you suggest I do? Anything you've learned from personal experience or just general tips would be very helpful!

I have a Jackson kelly eerie des swirl with Seymour Duncan humbuckers with high gain, and though im pretty sure something like this would be better with single coil pick ups, i was wondering if anyone could help me atleast attempt to replicate this sound. Im looking for anything from eq settings to Amps and pedals or anything else you guys can come up with. I really appreciate any help or suggestions

Hi guys not sure if this is the right place to post. But anyway, I'm teaching a young kid guitar and he wants to take the Rock School acoustic guitar grade 1 exams. I've actually never taken an exam from Rockschool syllabus and I was just wondering what the "general musicianship questions" section of the exam entail? The book just says they will ask qns on harmony, xvideos.onl/ xnxx.onl/chaturbate.onl/ melody, rhythms, technical requirements and genre. Has anyone taken exams at rock school before? Any idea what kinda questions they ask? Thanks so much in advance!

General Discussion / I just officially learned my first song
« on: March 13, 2019, 12:11:11 AM »
I've been playing inconsistently for that past year or two, I've been able to play a decent number of songs with tabs and song books, but I just nailed my first song without any sort of guide to hold my hand while I played. I played it 4 times in a row just to be sure that I had it, and it turned out great!

It's kinda late where I'm at, so I just wanted to brag to someone.

I got my explorer about 1 1/2 years ago. After an accident it was missing a sizable piece of paint so i refinished it. Turned out i was not happy with it so it is kind of reacurring theme to repaint it for me lately. Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire

This time i planned to go for white. My girlfriend is not very fond of the whole shape but as she knows how much i like the guitar she offered the give it more character. I am so amazed how well it turned out. Clear will have to dry some time now and i am still waiting for some components. Totally cant wait to play it.

Is there a linear or specific jump in quality between guitar price and sound as both go up. I know expensive guitars usually provide a better sound but when you would put it in graph, would it be a linear line or have specific jumps between price segments?  Sarkari Result Pnr Status Showbox

I started out with a $70 dollar guitar which was fine for the basics. I then bought and still have an way better sounding guitar which cost about $350. The jump in quality is amazing.

I was thinking about buying an even better guitar but I was wondering how much the gap in sound would be when I would buy a $600, $800 or even $1000 dollar guitar. Would this blow my mind as big as my first upgrade, would it be worth the investment?

Guitar students often get confused between the different ways of playing the F chord on guitar. This also applies to bar chords with the same chord shape (E shape from the CAGED system). So I decided to put in a video lesson the best 3 ways to play the F chord on guitar (beginner friendly). One is the F bar chord that many learn as first bar chord. The second position is the same as the bar chord without the bar! (Using the thumb to play the root note). Lastly, an even more beginner friendly F triad shape muting the other strings when you strum it.  Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire

I'm going to go one further. What is the best guitar you can buy? One you constantly want to pick up and play and don't want to put down. People usually have a ton of questions, and others will answer with what they like. Find what you like and go for it and play what you like.  Sarkari Result Pnr Status Showbox

My roommate has a guitar and I've always wanted to learn but I don't really know how to. I started playing some random tabs that don't really require chords and I've learned some chords but I really struggle with strumming patterns and just conforming my fingers to the chord shape (I have short and fat fingers). Are there any tutorials or channels out there that are really good for beginners? Speed Test Scrabble Word Finder Solitaire
