N Series (Nuno Bettencourt) / N4 - no Made in USA stamp - early model
« on: January 03, 2015, 12:53:00 PM »
Hi, im considering buying a 93 N4 however it doesn't have the Made In USA stamp at the back of the head stock but it does have a serial number & Made in USA on the SEC. I've read that they didn't start introducing the stamp on the back of the headstock until 1995, can someone confirm this please.

thanks

Vintage and Rare Washburns / New MG 104
« on: October 22, 2011, 01:43:19 AM »
I live in the UK and found this floating on ebay so snapped it up. The guitar is near mint and will sit alongside my early 90s Hamers, i understand they were built by the same guys. Slightly different from other MGs ive seen in that it doesnt have a tone control

Hi,

Im after some info re MG 44. My old guitar teacher used to have one of these & im keen to pick one up as they're cheap but cool. He had one with what looked to be a custom neck kind of like boomerang inlays but not. Does anyone know if this was  custom shop or a special series also were they all made in korea?
