There is one in my Local Pawn Shop really good Condition $156 I would offer lower he is trying to sell me a D35 Martin for $1750 I think I would rather get the D21S for cheap, half as much as a nice sounding Yamaha he has 730S(I think) but I think the Washburn would equal it with a tweak and new strings. SK=Samick Korea?

I saw and played one yesterday it looked very nice from a distance  with the nice herring bone on closer inspection I was less impressed the sound whole was finished like it was lam and the spruce top seemed too thick
it was made in China by Samick maybe,as far as sound my D10 SDL from grand rewards outshined it.I saw a very interesting Terada too MIJ Cedar Mahog Jumbo I think very light and bassy it looked like the top could have been lifting a bit but could still have been set up OK  $430 Offer 150 maybe can't find a thing out about it.bty they wanted 320 for the d14s

Acoustic Guitar Players Post Comments & Questions / D26S String Ramps

After seein a recent Post I looked at my D26S and saw that when I had it set up it was left with a low saddle i guess it wasn't so Virgin after all so I made some ramps and put a tusque saddle that fit better while I was at it.It  lost some tone when it was set up now I know why. I hope I did alright, here are some pics sorry about the sloppy posting and order image shack has changed some. 186 and 190 don't show up I hated to cut into the bridge but it seemed to warrant it http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg5/scaled.php?server=5&filename=wp000189.jpg&res=mediumhttp://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg545/scaled.php?server=545&filename=wp000197.jpg&res=mediumhttp://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg709/scaled.php?server=709&filename=wp000186.jpg&res=mediumbefohttp://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg51/scaled.php?server=51&filename=wp000190y.jpg&res=mediumre

I found this on CL $45 I know, too much!oddly enough it happened to be one of my brothers oldest friends, any way it was pretty beat and actually had a cracked heel and someone bolted right thru the neck to fix it.It needed tuners so I bought Pings for $20 at Sam Ash that fit factory.Cleaned it with a magic sponge did amazingly well fingerboard grime and stains on body vanished, and then polished it and strung it with DAdario phoshor bronze lights. The truss rod appeared to work.To my shock the thing plays amazingly well and I still havn't touched the action or relief not even sure if I will.I guess even the lowest end MIJ guitar was a winner. Here's the Pics.http://s1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa396/ripple4/?action=view¤t=WP_000169.jpg

I found a D12S on CL for $100  and thought I might have gotten ripped off the saddle was shot and it  not appear to be in the the best shape but overall seemed sound,so I put on a tusqe saddle I was given and set the action on it, and the nut.I adjusted the neck relief and pulled the pick guard off the rest of the way.I then cleaned it up and put GHS true mediums on it, and I think I now have an equal to replace the D10SDL maybe better because of the scalloped bracing.I wonder where it was made and year?the neck is pure and the top only has a small ding or two,so maybe I did OK, here's the pics.http://s1195.photobucket.com/albums/aa396/ripple4/?action=view¤t=WP_000154.jpg

I think I surprised myself, I adjusted the saddle and nut on my Alverez Yairi, following advise on frets.com.I used my Reed surfacer for the Saddle, and Torch tip cleaners to lower the nut slots.and a cheap rule from hardware store. It now frets real easy at the first fret and any lower at the 12th would alter the intonation adversely.I had all three of my Washburns set by pros so I could measure and see where I needed to be.Cheap and didn't lose useage, Sorry OC guitar works.Took some patience though.

It appears seller underestimated shipping costs and returned money thought it sounded cheap, price with shipping was on target for used unseen item though.glad I did not tell friend it was on the way.I was let down for the first time on EBAY.and will not get refund for a while.

I found one on EBAY for 67 dollars.it is said to be in good condition minus an unnoticeable apple seed size top ding. The seller only posted one pic so wish me luck.Shipping will be USPS priority a good deal, and supposedly 3 day deliver time.I happen to be a Postal Worker so I hope the clerks handle it as fragile and throw under hand as opposed to overhand for all else.Gonna give it to an ailing friend, an old shipmate after I check it over I will be sure and post some good pics in any case.lucky its is a durable Washburn.

I was at the NAMM show in Anaheim Ca today and at the Washburn Site Checked out the new models I was most impressed with the Ovongkol Ceder Top Solid Wood Unfortunately they did not have the Rosewood and had none of the the Timbercrafts or D series, What does this mean? Did see Nick There and mentioned the forum. Think I will try to get their again tomorrow to find out more That place is a guitar, and musical instrument Lovers Paradise, and a real sensory overload
