I've had mind for a while now ,it really is a great little guitar. I have assess to some really high end guitars and this little git
gets as much play as any of them. Great neck. great mids and highs. A little weak on bass but it fits country blues and rag just fine.
I underestimated this little honey because it didn't have an expensive name on the headstock, maybe I just got lucky and got a good one!

I love washburns I think they have been very under rated the last couple of years,, but I'm not wild about the use of aging toner on new guitars.
I know the point is to make the git look vintage ,but Washburn is too heavy handed. I don't like Martin 's use of it on their EC models either but
at least they go a little more subtle.
Build the guitar with vintage specs and let it age naturally.

The serial no. is 853448, I saw a pic of it, someone attached a
large section of what looks like black plastic over the lower bout upper section of the sound board. That should be good for sound projection.
They also scratched off the Washburn head stock logo?
I think I'll pass on this particular git but I'm still interested
in the model.

Someone on one of the searches I did did said Washburn made some Lami versions of this Git, whence the N without the SW, I don't know,I
guess I'll have to spend the gas money if I want to find out.
The guitar, I was told also had some kind of edge guard on the lower bout? Maybe I can get the guy to send me some pics, he didn't sound
too enthusiastic about pics last time I talked to him.

So if its' a d61n you think it's still a solid wood guitar? I'd
have to travel to see this guitar so I'm trying to save myself a trip
I'm only interested if its'SW. The owner says its solid but you know
that can go either way.

I'm wondering if the n means lami instead of solid? Did they make this model in laminates?

I don't physically have the guitar yet. I bought it as a project guitar, hope I didn't bite off more.... The crack was caused by leaving the git in acold car all night. These guitar also have that fiberglas unibody design, maybe that's part of the problem? Can I reglue the opened seam to the center bracing strip, if it closes? Can a back strip be used as a reinforcment like an inlaid strip?
