Yeah man as soon as I saw it I knew it was a fake :/ I had a guy try to do the same thing from craigslist, but I posted it here and was quickly made aware that it was advertised falsely. When I confronted him, I got no response. Hope you enjoy your new REAL N4! I loved mine and am still kicking myself for getting rid of it. I'm always on the lookout now but prices seem to have gone up quite a bit on the used market for these.

Hey man, I really appreciate the reply, and sorry for the late response. I searched for awhile and came up empty, and now I'm on deployment and won't be home for awhile, so I'm unfortunately not in the market at the moment. As much as I wish I could get it right now, I'm gonna have to start the search all over when I get back from deployment. Thanks again and good luck with the sale!

Hi all,
I've been searching for one of these for some time now, and lately the desire to snag one has been hitting me pretty hard. I thought I had a deal worked out on another forum, but the seller stopped responding for a few days and then informed me that he unloaded it locally. I'd prefer one in the natural finish, but beggars can't be choosers, so I'm definitely open to anything. Let me know if you have anything. Thanks!

Well he never replied with a serial number, but I did reply to him to address the issue. I mentioned everything that has been said in the thread and told him no thank you. This was 2 days ago now and he hasn't responded. Thanks for the help!

The pics aren't the best, but now looking closer, it definitely doesn't look like an ebony fingerboard. And the way the pickups are mounted in doesn't seem right.

Hey everyone. I've come across a deal on an N4 but for some reason it just raised a couple of flags with me, so I wanted to have some more experienced folks take a look at it to see if it's legit. I owned one a couple years back and regret selling it, so I'm definitely hoping this is the real deal. Any help would be appreciated! I don't have the serial number right now, but he should be sending it to me when he gets home tonight. Thanks!

Also, this is kind of a feeler at the moment, sorry for not mentioning that. I'm pretty sure I'm going to part ways with it, but not 100% positive. Still, any interest, feel free to contact me!

Hey everyone. I'm looking to sell my N4. It's a swamp ash model that I picked up a couple of years ago and it never really saw much action. I love the guitar but I seem to only pick up my Parker these days. I'm in the military and am gonna be moving soon, so I'm gonna need a little extra cash and as much as I hate to, it just seems to make sense to get rid of this. All specs are what you would expect, and it has been very lightly played. Never played out, in excellent condition. I wish I had better pictures, but I only have a few phone pictures on here. The only blemish on this guitar is a very small spot on the bottom of the body where it seems like the paint just didn't quite pick up. It's not a nick or ding or anything. If there are any questions feel free to ask. I was gonna post what pictures I have on here but am kind of computer illiterate so if you have interest feel free to text me at 210-310-8836 for the fastest response, or e-mail me at kelley_brett@sbcglobal.net . I'm looking to get $1200 plus shipping, but if you have an offer I'll certainly entertain it. Thanks for looking!

N Series (Nuno Bettencourt) / Need help identifying an N4

Thank you sir! Greatly appreciated. I have it narrowed down to this and a vintage model from 09. They're close to the same price, and I think the stained swamp ash is gorgeous. I've heard that people seem to prefer the vintage over the swamp ash model. Is there any specific reason as to why that is, or will I be equally satisfied with both? Thanks!

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I've recently been looking a lot at N4s and have decided it's time to buy one. While searching for different deals, I came across someone with what to me looked like a stained swamp ash N4, but I don't know much about these, so I was hoping I could get some help identifying exactly what this guitar is. Any info/specs are greatly appreciated!
