Dug...if that is the case...the next time Tesla makes its way around your must go see them....they have a blast on stage....and are very approachable...catch them by the bus before or after they always have time to talk to the fans....better yet sign up on their message board and you get backstage meet n greet passes just for asking :-)

You forgot to say Simon Says

There appear to be some more scratches and possibly more damage right at the end of that long vertical scratch....around the binding area....something that resembles a scuff of some sort. Just inside the binding....I say abuse, but I cannot see the rest of the case nor the box she came in.

Shine...I am sick for you....The only thing I would change that has already been offered above....before sending it anywhere I would wait for a response from the seller....maybe a day or so....then I would contact Paypal....they will refund the money pretty quickly....had that happen once with a line 6 amp.

With the guitar, unless you are in the same room....they probably will not notice...but you can always strum a little lighter....if you are in another room and they can still hear you....then you are probably strumming too hard anyway.

I took the approach a few years back that I am smart enough to teach myself how to play with online lessons and videos and such....well 2 years later...I am still struggling....I wish I would have taken lessons up front....altho I did have lessons when I was 7...that was classical and I had no interest in that kind of discipline at at least I knew how to fret some chords and how to hold a pick LOL.

I strongly suggest that you take maybe 3 or 6 months of lessons consecutively to get a good basis....then you can delve into the online and book type lessons....or if you have lots of free time run them concurrently.....but have a teacher by all means....

The other suggestion I can just til it hurts...then play alot more....until you get callouses built up on your finger is going to hurt like hell....but I am sure you have already read that.

As the others said cannot go wrong with a D10S or D10SCE You might hook up with RGGMusic or Toaster20 (Same person) from this forum and see if he has any D10s in stock....he usually treats forum members very well.

This is one of my newer favorite players....about a year ago or so I was doing a google search for Allman Brothers tabs and learned about Derek...I have been collecting his stuff ever since....amazing slide player....and even better when paired up with Warren Haynes.

Check this one is one of my favorite pieces of theirs.

Old Friend from the dressing room.

Is gold and silver all they come in? I really prefer the ebony keys myself.

Yep...I agree with most of the did everything you could to try and resolve the issue by using all the correct steps...he tried to screw you by refusing take the money Paypal put back in your account and use that to pay to have all the issues with the guitar you have a nice Martin that will last you a lifetime...for very little out of pocket.

One other very helpful thing for a beginner is to hang around on this forum. Plenty of good people to answer your questions, steer you in the right direction and offer advice.

The best reason to hang around this forum....besides the valuable most of us are just plain hilarious ;-)

The humor here is among the best in the world :-)
