I answer incoming calls, as they MIGHT BE work related. I don't text.
I get about three calls a week (......'Cause I have a wife). I make about 2 a month (.......never to my wife!).
I like the internet on it though.
If I don't have it, I don't miss it.

Just got my Galaxy S2 and I love it, lots to learn about it yet.  Wish it had a real keyboard though, I'm rather touch-screen-keyboard challenged, I'm constantly hitting the wrong characters!

Thanks Dugly, been hangin' around, just havn't posted much lately!

GET TO WORK, WHAD'YA THINK THIS IS, VACATION?  Seriously, have a good time you guys!

Yeah, Happy Birthday from me too Rocket!

I'm a Nikon guy! [:)]

Looks somewhat like my Model 5200! (see signature below)

Thanks CB, as regular as clockwork you are!  :)

I love food and I love hearing about what's going on in the Morris's kitchen!

Well I would Dugly, but this is a hybrid classical with a very narrow nut (1.75) and as far as I know, Washburn doesn't make anything like that.  It's an Ibanez AEG10NETNG.

Thanks Dug, it's not a Washie and really, it's so cheap I'm probably worried about nothing ($219), $299 New New!  It's a knock around guitar anyway, I just don't want cracks or anything that will affect function.  I can probably polish the hell out of it!

Quick, I need some opinions!  How do you all feel about purchasing Factory Second guitars?  The one I'm looking at on ebay is described as having a few blemishes and surface scratches but is brand new.

Thanks for your input!

Happy Birthday Toast!!

Acoustic Guitar Players Post Comments & Questions / I'm in lust
« on: May 27, 2011, 09:55:21 AM »
I just picked up a friend's Taylor model 710 and it was instant lust!  Besides sounding good, it's playability was superb.  The neck seemed very thin and flat (not v-shaped) and the action was very low, pushing the strings down was effortless.  I asked her if she had ever had a setup performed on it and she said no, it was like this when I bought it new.  I've had several new acooustics, even a $2ooo Martin and none of them came close to this one's playability, so naturally I'm depressed, I can't afford $1800 for a Taylor 710! [:(]

So are there any Washburns with similar characteristics that are more affordable?

Thanks all for the birthday greetings!  The Washburn faerie didn't come through, but that's okay.

I didn't take chemistry in college so I never played any chemical tricks on anyone, but I did take electronics and it was fun to charge up a capacitor then go out in the hallway and throw it to someone and say here catch, then watch their reaction when it discharged in their hands.

That gives us a few days to plan.
Let's get a cake and some beer and we can all meet back here on the 8th.
I'll bring the doritos.

Don't do it

Forget the cake and the beer Toaster, send me a new Washburn!
