Post by: Laker on December 27, 2004, 05:04:07 PM
I winter in southern New Mexico and go north(Great Lakes)for the sailing season(May thru October). I play guitar and keys,my room mate bass and keys, and we have two pianos and a hammond B3 as well. can play all styles but tend to stay close to blues and R&R,and we're always on the lookout for other jammers,as Deming dosn't seem to have a surplus of active musicians. We are new transplants here, from LA,both in our 50s,and looking for other landlocked musicians to jam/gig with.....

Hey there Laker

It's hard to hook up with people from this forum to jam with...

I would suggest looking in you local area for open mic nights.....Then chat it up with people who play your style..

You should be able to russtle something up.. It took me several tries before I found a good open mic spot... But it was well worth the effort...

Rock on....[8D]

Hey Laker,
If you are around Albuquerque/Edgewood on Wednesdays, Drake hosts an open mic at Tom's Guitar shop.

How far is Deming from ABQ?
