Title: What does the "K" stand for?
Post by: Cryo on April 27, 2011, 10:04:18 PM
Does any one know what the k stand for in the Washburn Banjo name?
i have a Washburn B16K according to the sticker on my resomator, but my truss rod cover says B16.

Thanks in advance.

I know with washburn guitars it stands for Case.
maybe its the same for banjos.
that would mean it a B16 with case, probably why it just says B16 on the TR cover.

Thanks.  That may explain it.[:)]  I had put the question to Washburn last week, but still no reply.   I have the same question open on the Banjo Hangout with a different reply.  Still not certain.  If I could get an official explanation from Washburn, I would be really appreciative.
