Title: Oscar Schmidt OE40N
Post by: David Bayer on March 24, 2018, 05:27:03 PM
Hi all, My first post here!  I just purchased a used Oscar Schmidt OE40N, from a local store, Heid Music in Oshkosh, Wis.  I have been wanting a dedicated Jazz guitar that I can also sing with a bit in church.  I loved the test drive and love playing the big heavy thing to death.  It fits.
I have a few questions as I have been unable to find out much on the internet besides 99% good reviews. The guitar is not in new, but I would say excellent condition, the bout has no blemishes, neck is straight and easy, easy, easy to play, one small nick on the top left hand corner of the headstock which may even polish out.
Anyway, I digress.
It has a serial number SJ04063057, and says made in China.  I am wondering around how old it is, and a little bit of the history of this model.  Can anyone help with this.  Thanks. :) I am happy to join the Washburn family.
