Thanks for info. I'm going to use felt.

OK, decided to keep my D10 out so it's always near me so I can play more!! I'm making a stand out of some red oak and want to know what finish I should use on the oak. I want a clear finish but don't want to use anything that would react with the guitars finish. I'm using felt to pad the places where the guitar will touch stand. Thanks for reply's. Truk.

Hey, I need some encouragment or a kick in the pants! It seems since I got laid off in november I can't seem to get my head into practicing. This really is starting to bum me out and I need to do something about it because I just started learning to play 4 months before that. I sit around and talk to the wife which isn't a bad thing but I have plenty of time now to practice. Tell me something to get me going again------ Please!!!! You people have been my best insperation when I first started now I need you to get me going again!! Thanks, Truk.

I wasn't going to post because I don't want to sway you to any specific brand. But what I can tell you is I bought a new D10S on line that I hadn't seen or touched before I bought. I am a beginner and didn't know anything about guitars, but I love my washburn and am very pleased with the quality and also with the straight up help I get from the people on this forum. Truk.

I know I seen a post about Washburn bridge pins being different than others. Are my D10S pins different from lets say fenders or other makes? If so where can I get a set of good ones? Thanks!! Truk.

Read a post about guitars that open up after they are played. Do they have to be all solid wood or do the laminated sides and backs open to? I have a D10SN, what will happen to this as far as opening up? Thanks!!
