Hey CB

I see your into Matsumoko guitsrs
ya dont want a westone spectrum sx 85-86 do ya
or have you allready got one perhaps?
its got a wire off ,5 mins with a soldering iron and its up and running
hardly a mark on it for an oldish axe
$50 plus the postage would be cool or somewhere around that mark
Cheers

go here this is a brit distributer

deffo comes in trans black

Even here though it shows the 66,s rrp as $120 more than the 45 ,seems a lot of diffo just for a set of pups but I cant see any other differences.

Well basically exactly the same guitar only diffo is as far as I know the 45 uses the  Randall pups where as the 66 uses the duncs
I noticed ya man at richtone is sellin the 45 $100 less than the 66 dunno wether this is cos the Randall pups are inferior/cheaper or just that the 66 is harder to get hold of ,either way if the 45 sounds half as good as the 66 its gotta be a real bargain at that price

But hehe if ya decide to go for a 66 I know where ya can get one for  nearly a hundred less than richtone ,complete with hard case

all the best

« on: October 25, 2008, 12:43:34 PM »

I know the 66 pro is supposed to have a rosewood fingerboard

but my made in indonesia jobby looks very much like my westone thunder 3a fingerboard (which is ebony) in colour and in grain and nothing like any of my other rosewood fingerboard jobs (fender strat, tele and my Tokai paul ,so is there any chance it may be Ebo
