thanks Evenkeel, I was wondering why the XLR plug didn't work. I thought   it might just be a DI. or some sort of send. It truely is a great guitar, and I have played other models, but this one plays so much smoother like an electric would. thanx again

I have a black festival series with a set neck, oval port, and three pin stripes and bindings around entire guitar. model#EA20MB-serial#97090037 the body is thin. great playing guitar, but kind of tinny high end an low volume unplugged. plug it in and heavens tunes ring, it sounds unbelievably great. three band EQ.+ contour sliders, and a phase switch. the most puzzeling thing though is that it has both 1/4 inch output, and an XLR output. please tell me what I don't know about this guitar.1997 Washburn festival series.

hey kmcdaniel, the bridge is badly cracked, but you can buy another new bridge. the guitar is in great shape minus the bridge. dose the guitar stay in tune when you re string it? this is a classical style guitar,so it requires nylon strings. I would say to you, buy a pack of srings, and tune it up, if it stays in tune and plays good, don't mess with it,keep it ,and enjoy it !!!

can someone help me? my friend has a d29s from 79-80. the thing that's different from all the others, is there is no serial number, and no paper label. the only thing on it is D29S stamped inside next to the George Washburn belt logo, also stamped inside. the only numbers are next to the truss rod inside # 2 05 , it dose not have the diamonds,or the w on the 12 fret.the bridge is normal not fancy,it has George Washburn tune keys that are silver not gold. the neck, sides, and back is mahagony, rosewood fretboard, and 22 frets with dots( double 7th-12th)dots. please  if anyone has any info on this guitar let me know.this guitar was bought 2nd hand from the original perchiser, and it was definetly bought in 1979 brand new. we've been serching all over and have found every kind of d29s  but this one.
