General Discussion on Washburn Electric Guitars / Bogus Buzz
« on: August 23, 2005, 09:40:28 AM »
I was hoping that someone could help me here.  I have a wi66pro guitar that supposedly has the Buzz Feiten tuning system on it.  Problem is, i cant tell the effin difference between the nut or bridge on my guitar and that of any other les paul copy.  The nut has no lightning bolt on it(signifies authentic feiten system) and the bridge looks just like a gibson bridge.  I know its made in korea so granted it wont be as nice as some american made washburn, but it seems that the sticker on the back of the head stock that say buzz feiten is just for show.  anybody know anything?

Im interested in getting a nice shred guitar but i dont want to spend a ton of money......any suggestions.  Id like to spend less than 500, and i would also like a floyd rose.

By the way, it doesnt need to be a washburn.  im open to anything.

I resently paid my taxes and took care of a few other responsibilites and i have about 500-700 dollars laying around.  Im interested in buying another guitar, maybe a washburn maybe not.  I would like to get some first hand opinions on what a good deal for a guitar in the 500-700 dollar range is.  I really love playing rock/hard rock so i plan on getting dual humbuckers.  any opinions?

General Discussion on Washburn Electric Guitars / WI66 Pro
« on: January 29, 2005, 12:50:22 PM »
What are the general thoughts on the WI66 Pro.  Is it worth the 650 bucks that most music stores are asking?  It looks sweet and the Seymour Duncans look awfully tempting......but it doesnt seem like a lot of people are too interested in them.....It seems like the WI64 gets more attention

General Discussion on Washburn Electric Guitars / WI66PROE
« on: December 01, 2004, 09:52:22 AM »
This question concerns the Idol WI66 PRO-E with active EMG's.  Does anyone know anything about this guitar.  I know it is alot like the Nick Cantanese Model but probably not quite as nice.  Any information would be appreciated.
