I recently played a HB30 at a local music store the sound was ok, a bit muddy, but I did notice that the pups seem to move around i.e. rock back and forth in the guitar in the direction from bridge to nut. Is this normal? How much should they move around. I have a Jackson and the Humbucker does not move around in this manner(at least I don't think it does, if it does move it is very slightly).

Weird thing is they seem to have more hits than any of the other active topics. Is there something you guys aren't telling me?[B)]

I've just made it to advanced member without posting any pics. I dusted off my digital camera and have taken a few pics of some of my gear, my projects (including sound-hole plug, and slide guitar), and some of my art-work. I know it is too little too late, but I hope it is still ok. Here's the link to my pictures.

Acoustic Guitar Players Post Comments & Questions / Players Points
« on: August 14, 2007, 01:12:14 AM »
Over the year's I've collected around 180 (I think, I haven't checked recently), Diaddario players points. I'm really interested in getting the Stool that they have (It's like the carona one that someone showed recently), but shipping outside of the US is $16 and I don't have a credit card, and am a bit worried if I got a credit card and I send out my details that I may not get anything and get charged anyway. Has anyone dealt with players points before?

I finally got around to making a feedback buster for my EA18TS. I made it out of Neoprene(the stuff wetsuits are made out of), except this stuff is harder (presuming its vulcanised). When I finally get around to taking pictures I'll post some. It was pretty simple. Using Solidworks(cad package) I made 1:1 scale paper templates, then cut the shapes out and using 3 layers glued together, made the plug. Mainly used the scroll saw for cutting, then Dremel Drill to smooth edges, then sand paper. Turned out as good as a curved edge in rubbery material can get. It's not perfect, but it does the job.

Here's a 12string I have been eying off near my home location. What would be the max you would pay, and do you think it is worth bidding on. I've always wanted a 12string.
