Thanks Tom.

I read that lemon oil can gum up the frets. Does this happen because they are using too much?

What do you recommend I use to clean the fretboard and strings?

I may be new here, but the last time Washburn had a giveaway was in 2010?

I just received my WD10SCE and I am not sure what gauge strings to buy for replacement?

Also, what brand would you recommend?

Now, switching between them?  That's a different story. Thanks for all the help. I found a pretty good online guitar lesson site, His videos are very helpful.

Thanks everyone for the works of wisdom!

Opened my guitar last night, and so far I'm impressed. It looks beautiful and the action (seems) good. It looks like it was manufactured in May of 2012. The strings are showing some age. Is it wise to put new strings on a new guitar or how do I know if they need changed?

This is my first post. I have  never played a guitar and will start tomorrow when it arrives. I did a lot of research before purchasing the WD10SCE, and for the price it looked like the best choice. I will let you know what I think after playing it for a few weeks.

Any words of wisdom for a newbie?
