Just want to chime in...
I came into the Washburn fold a year ago when my Idol called out to me from the consignment section of a local guitar shop. Since that time I've added 2 more Washburns thanks to craigslist, and one from a neighbor who just hated the fact that his was collecting dust.

Over the course of all of this, I've emailed Customer service several times, and each time, I've gotten a response with 24 hours, and it was concise, and it clearly stated what was fact, and what was speculative, based on the information available. In each instance, the info never contradicted what I heard from the guys on this board, (although they did have MORE info in one case)

All this to say, in my experience, they've been responsive. I hear alot of other experiences, but thought I'd share my first person account. Maybe it's just been good timing.

It wouldn't hurt to try.

hey sharn,
yeah, that definitely doesn't sound like customer service, i can't argue with you on that. An email is an email, shouldn't matter where is comes from.
Even if that answer is to say they have no idea, it's an honest response.
