This is the Mars music store Ltd edition  that I bought from them back in 98. Not much seems to be known of this model? Anyone else have info?
Oh I had Dick Dale sign it at a small venue last year. ( see pic)

Welcome I have a D79LTD   made in 1979 1979 of them made. 600 of them came to USA.    At 600 of them made, it is really not all that limited.  I have a D10S that there are only 70 of them in the world, a little more limited. When you get down in the 5 or 10 then they get more  limited of course. All of these big stores have special made guitars.    But it is still a very nice guitar, love the bridge.  Is it solid top? If I had seen it in a guitar store I would have bought it to.  I have more Washburns than all the local stores. LOL. Tom.  :)

I just bought a DX2000 the other day for my son.
It appears to be an entry level Washburn made in limited quantities
(600) sponsored by or made for the now defunct Mars Music store chain.
I purchased it for $120 and it is in great condition.
It has a very nice tone and plays easy for an inexpensive guitar.
I've seen them listed from $100 - $600.
I can't figure out how to post a picture of it but it is s very pretty guitar.
