| Hi, that's a bit of an odd one, especially with the volume and tone controls where they are. If you look through the sound hole towards the neck join there should be a serial number and maybe a model number stamped inside. Looks a nice guitar though, maybe older than you think. Looks similar to the EA series, Woodstock, Festival etc. earlier models round the 82-84 era. I'm not an expert on acoustics so hopefully someone else will be along to give you a better idea. Best of luck. |

| The control placement was used in the later 80's, maybe early 90's. Someone posted pictures of a similar guitar not that long ago. It has two pickups. One under the saddle. The other at the 20th fret. It's one of the EA's, but not sure what number. |

| By the serial number, it's a '91 model. Not absolutely sure, but it might be an EA30- Monterey. |

Hi I have that same guitar mine says Woodstock Sutdio as a model I am interested in the difference between the Woodstock and the Woodstock Studio models. I have seen postings saying the Woodstock series was handmade and are rare . but I can't seem to find that posting again.
Anyone know where that discussion was ??

The difference is that the Studio had the pickup in the fingerboard. But they weren't handmade, or rare. They were production models. And, tjay, with the 5 digit serial yours could be an '89. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Check ebay for completed auctions. |

Looks to me to be a EA-36/EA46 ( Marquee )made in 1989 I do believe that they were the only ones made with 23 frets with the 22 fret having a pick-up in it. With a flamed or birds eye maple top/back/sides ( yours is the flamed ). Nice guitar one in average shape somewhere around the $275-325, in excellent shape could garner $500-600.Ship
